Have Your Say Today – Kettering Walking & Cycling Plan – Commonplace
Please complete the consultation with your comments.
Warkton is within the study area for this cycling and walking plan and therefore any comments or suggestions from yourselves for this plan would be very welcome. Specifically, the proposed Route 3 connects Weekley to Geddington/ Kettering and the rest of the proposed network and there is also Route 6 which is to the south of Warkton . Therefore any comments upon these route proposals would be especially welcome. Below is an extract from the website illustrating the Route 3 proposals.

GREENBELT FESTIVAL – 50TH ANNIVERSARY
Please see details from the Team at Greenbelt as below:
Local Parish Resident Tickets: 50 for 50
Once again, we’re pleased to make hugely discounted weekend tickets available to local parish residents (that’s Geddington, Warkton, Weekley and Grafton Underwood parishes) for just £50. That’s £50 to celebrate our 50th anniversary festival with us. 50 for 50, if you like.
We recognise this is an increase in the price we’ve been able to offer on our local parish resident ticket for the last few years. But as we’re sure you’ll appreciate, our offer to date has been unrealistically cheap and, given the hugely inflated production costs we’re wrestling with, we simply cannot afford to – effectively – give local parish resident tickets away any more.
£50 still represents incredible value for a weekend festival event; it’s still less than a single day ticket for this year’s festival.
So, if your parishioners are interested in booking a full weekend ticket for the festival – valid for Friday 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 August – for just £50 then they’ll need to fill out a quick form here (2 mins!) with proof of their address. Once these local tickets go live we’ll then issue them with their own, unique, one-time code to use when booking their discounted ticket.
We’d love your help in advertising this offer to all your parishioners; we will also be advertising this through local social media groups to ensure the word gets out well.
We really look forward to seeing you in the fields this summer. Come and celebrate with us. After all, it’s not every day that you turn 50.
If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
